2023 Cultural Asset Surveys
Report of Findings
Arts in McNairy's Traditional Arts and Diversity Committees, respectively chaired by Shawn Pitts and LaShell Moore, are undertaking an ambitious cultural asset survey in 2023. Joined by three interns, Jacob York, Mickela Stewart and Deon Strickland, the survey team has committed to learning as much as possible about various aspects of local culture including African American, Hispanic and Indigenous traditions. Reports of findings from the various 2023 surveys may be downloaded below, as they become available.
