BIG SHOES PUBLICATIONS  is a children's publishing project of Arts in McNairy and funded in part by Tennessee Arts Commission. With a focus on publishing stage plays for kids, Big Shoes Publications seeks to bring more entertaining, well-written scripts to community theaters and schools while supporting the writers who write them.

WHY THE NAME BIG SHOES?  Kids are hard at work growing into the people they will be and having fun along the way. They're playing, exploring, seeking, trying on, and finding all kinds of personalities. The stage offers a place where they can try on big personalities to fill big shoes. Big Shoes Publications is about offering kids a universe from their stage to learn who they are and sometimes take a break from who they are to be someone else!
