Why Your Support Matters

Access

Every concert, class, theatre production, and exhibition Arts in McNairy offers is free or low-cost and open to the public — because we believe a person’s zip code or level of income shouldn’t be a factor in experiencing the benefits of the arts. Donors like you make that possible.

Inclusion

The Arts belong to everyone. Our programs for people with developmental and physical disabilities — made possible through our partnership with South Arts — are a living commitment to that belief. No one in this county should feel excluded from the arts.

Legacy

A Folklife Learning Center. A high school performing arts program. A restored outdoor stage. Permanent public art installations. These are gifts that will outlast all of us — investments in a county where the next generation grows up surrounded by art, music, and story.
"I'm a kid of the 1980s and 90s and in that time I didn't have a lot of access to the arts in Selmer or McNairy County...But now, thankfully, Arts in McNairy is there. For a small town, Arts in McNairy is a gigantic organization, giving hope, giving inspiration and motivation, and access to the arts."

–Brian Tull, professional muralist & studio artist
Twenty-five years of quality arts programs in McNairy County didn’t happen by accident. It happened because people here chose to show up — as audiences, as volunteers, as donors. If you believe this community is richer for it, Arts in McNairy would be honored to have you stand with us for the next twenty-five.
