INTERVIEW RELEASE FORM
This Release and Authorization Form ("Release") is executed by and between: (“Interviewee”) in favor of Arts in McNairy (AiM) in connection with AiM’s plan to audibly, visually or digitally record an interview (“Recordings”) by the Interviewee.
Interviewee hereby grants AiM and its affiliates, designated contractors, and subcontractors the exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free right and license with respect to Interviewee’s rights in the Recordings to: (a) publicly perform, publicly display, transmit, broadcast, rebroadcast, distribute, reproduce, encode, edit, repurpose, market, promote, resell, have sponsored, archive, and synchronize audio and video of the Recordings and; (b) use Interviewee’s name, likeness, picture, voice and statements made and opinions expressed during the Recordings, in whole or in part, alone or in compilation with content provided by third parties, in any manner, in any form, by any method now or hereafter known.
For the avoidance of doubt, the license granted immediately above shall include all necessary rights for AiM to make full use of the Recordings, including but not limited to all necessary master, performance, and controlled publishing rights. Interviewee hereby waives all rights of privacy or compensation the Interviewee may have in connection with such use of the Interviewee’s name, likeness, rendering, photo, voice and statements or other personally identifiably information collected, and opinions expressed during the Recordings.
Interviewee has read this Release prior to its execution, and Interviewee is fully familiar with the contents thereof. This Release shall be governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee applicable to agreements entered into in such state or any other state in which Recordings are obtained. This Release grants AiM the right to use the Recordings but does not create an obligation to do so. This Release constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and shall not be subject to the terms of any guild, union, or other collective bargaining agreement.
