Needles-n-Pins Quilters

The Needles-n-Pins Quilters are a group of McNairy County women who meet regularly at the Bethel Springs Community Center to produce traditional, handmade quilts. They can also be seen at various arts and crafts fairs around the area. Collectively they represent over 250 years of quilting experience. Their expertise and passion for quilting have helped fund local projects for the enjoyment of the entire community and quilt lovers from many states. They have served as mentors for young quilters and are available to teach the art to all those who are interested. Their desire is to preserve the craft and heritage embodied in quilting and pass it on to future generations. Needles-n-Pins quilts are available for purchase or consignment items can be finished. They play a prominent role in the annual quilt and craft sale held on the third weekend in October, in conjunction with the Busy Bees Quilt Show. For additional information call: 731-934-4541.
