Linda Craig is a Michigan native who moved to Tennessee with her husband Lou after he retired from a carrer in the military.    Lou, who is a also a gifted woodcrafter and musician  is a native of McNairy County.  Since retirment both have been able to devote more time to their artistic pursuits and often colaborate on projects.   They currently reside in the historic community of Purdy, TN and are frequently found at arts and crafts fairs and cultural festivals around the Midsouth showing and selling their beautiful creations.  Lou, might also be persuaded to pick a tune on his guitar if you catch him in the right mood!

Linda says she never remembers a time when she wasn't fascintated with Native American culture.  She finds this hard to explain since she claims no Native Amerian heritage but it is crystal clear to everyone that her fascination with Native American art has paid off.    Linda is a self taught bead artist who works from home where, she says, " the beads sometimes take over!"   Though her work is diverse and she is known to explore the limits of what can be done with a bead she naturally prefers traditional Native American themes and styles.  LInda is also a generous mentor who loves to share her artistic passion with those who are just getting started.  She welcomes anyone who would like to know more about beads and beading  to contact her.
