Faith Dickerson receives much of her inspiration from primitive, tribal, and Native American art. She is very drawn to texture and textiles and incorporates these elements into her beautiful gourd art. Natural fibers, rich stains, wood burned accents, grasses, feathers, beads, and inlays enhance her compositions, drawing the mind of the viewer to the earth and our ancient heritage.
