Constance Beck:
Located in downtown Adamsville is Appalachian Threads. This unique spinning and weaving studio, and gift shop; features handwoven items made from all natural fibers as well as synthetics. Many of the hats, shawls, scarves, and throws are made from handspun fibers from the owners Angora goats as well as of llama, alpaca, and wool. While visiting the shop, you can take a step back through time and watch owner, Constance Beck, weave on her 90 yr old Missouri loom; or comb and spin the fibers into yarn. Constance has been spinning and weaving for over twenty years and demonstrates her trade at many local and regional shows.
